আমি শ্রী গোপিকা কান্ত দত্ত, শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা ও জেলা আইন পরিষেবা কর্তৃপক্ষ, উত্তর ত্রিপুরা, ধর্মনগর-এর প্যারা লিগ্যাল ভলান্টিয়ার। আমি বিগত ০৬ই এপ্রিল, ২০২৬ইং তারিখে ধর্মনগর থানায় দায়েরকৃত এক অভিযোগে উত্থাপিত গুরুতর বিষয়গুলি নিয়ে গভীরভাবে উদ্বিগ্ন। অভিযোগটি শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের একজন স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা দ্বারা দাখিল করা হয়েছে (নিরাপত্তার কারণে ভুক্তভোগীর নাম ও ঠিকানা প্রকাশ করা হচ্ছে না)। অভিযোগ অনুযায়ী, ভুক্তভোগী এবং তার পরিবারের সদস্যদের একটি ফৌজদারি মামলায় (2026 WDN 002) সাক্ষী হওয়ার কারণে প্রাণনাশ এবং সম্পত্তি ধ্বংসের হুমকি দেওয়া হয়েছে। এ ধরনের ভয়ভীতি প্রদর্শন অত্যন্ত গুরুতর এবং এটি সরাসরি বিচারব্যবস্থার উপর আঘাত হানে। আদালতে সত্য বলার জন্য কোনো নাগরিকের ভয়ের মধ্যে বাস করা উচিত নয়।
আমি আইন-প্রয়োগকারী সংস্থার নিকট অনুরোধ জানাচ্ছি যে, উক্ত অভিযোগের ভিত্তিতে অবিলম্বে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা হোক। একটি নিরপেক্ষ ও সুষ্ঠু তদন্তের মাধ্যমে অভিযুক্ত ব্যক্তিদের উপর কঠোর আইনি পদক্ষেপ গ্রহন করার অনুরোধ জানাচ্ছি। সাক্ষীদের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করা ন্যায়বিচার প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্য অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
এই বিষয়টি শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের অন্তর্গত “ত্রিসাম বাগান বাড়ি” নামক প্রতিষ্ঠানের সাথেও জড়িত। এই প্রতিষ্ঠানের বৈধতা, কার্যক্রম এবং কর্মকাণ্ড নিয়ে ইতোমধ্যেই প্রশ্ন উঠেছে। আরটিআই এর মাধ্যমে প্রাপ্ত নথিপত্র থেকে স্পষ্ট যে, শ্রী মিহির কান্তি নাথ (পিতা: মৃত গোপাল চন্দ্র নাথ) কর্তৃক পরিচালিত “ত্রিসাম বাগান বাড়ি” একটি অবৈধ ও অননুমোদিত প্রতিষ্ঠান, এবং আইন অনুযায়ী এর বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা প্রয়োজন।
আমি শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল কর্তৃপক্ষের নিকট অনুরোধ জানাচ্ছি যে, জননিরাপত্তা ও ন্যায়বিচারের স্বার্থে অবিলম্বে প্রয়োজনীয় পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করে এই প্রতিষ্ঠানটি বন্ধ করার ব্যবস্থা করা হোক।
এছাড়াও, আমরা শ্রীপুর এলাকাবাসী ভুক্তভোগী এবং সত্যের পক্ষে সাহসিকতার সাথে এগিয়ে আসা সকল মানুষের পাশে আছি। আইনের শাসন প্রতিষ্ঠা পেতেই হবে, এবং যারা বিচার প্রক্রিয়াকে ভয় দেখিয়ে বা প্রভাবিত করার চেষ্টা করছেন, তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করা আবশ্যক।
PR Statement Regarding the Serious Concerns Over Threats to Witnesses and Closure of Illegal Trissam Bagan Bari!
I, Gopika Kanta Dutta, am a permanent resident of Sripur Gram Panchayat and a Para Legal Volunteer under the District Legal Services Authority, North Tripura, Dharmanagar. I am deeply concerned about the serious issues raised in a complaint filed on 6th April 2026 at Dharmanagar Police Station. The complaint was submitted by a permanent resident of Sripur Gram Panchayat (the victim’s name and address are not being disclosed for security reasons). As per the complaint, the victim and his family members were threatened with death and destruction of property for being witnesses in a criminal case (No. 2026 WDN 002). Such acts of intimidation are very serious and directly attack the justice system. No citizen should live in fear for speaking the truth in court.
I request the law enforcement authorities to take immediate action based on this complaint. A fair and impartial investigation must be conducted, and strict legal action should be taken against the accused persons. Ensuring the safety of witnesses is very important for delivering justice.
This issue is also connected with the establishment known as “Trissam Bagan Bari” under Sripur Gram Panchayat. Questions have already been raised about the legality, operation, and activities of this place. From documents obtained through RTI, it is clear that “Trissam Bagan Bari,” operated by Shri Mihir Kanti Nath (son of Late Gopal Chandra Nath), is an illegal and unauthorized establishment, and strict action must be taken as per law.
I request the Sripur Gram Panchayat and all concerned authorities to immediately take necessary steps, including shutting down this establishment in the interest of public safety and justice.
Further, we, the residents of Sripur, stand with the victim and all those who are courageously coming forward in support of the truth. The rule of law must prevail, and strict legal action must be taken against anyone who tries to threaten or influence the justice process.
