PRESS RELEASE

This is to inform the general public and all concerned that Shri Gopika Kanta Dutta, also known as GK Dutta, has been using mobile phones since 08 December 2006. Over the years, he has used multiple mobile handsets of different makes and models.

As part of his personal interest and hobby in technology preservation and archival collection, certain previously used mobile phones have been carefully retained and stored for showcase and historical reference purposes.

As on date, a total of 23 (twenty-three) mobile phones of various companies are preserved in this personal archive. All these devices are old, inactive, and not connected to any mobile network or service. They are strictly non-operational and kept solely for collection and display purposes.

It is hereby clarified that the possession and storage of these devices are entirely lawful and maintained without any criminal, unlawful, or malicious intent.

এতদ্বারা সর্বসাধারণের অবগতির জন্য জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, শ্রী গোপিকা কান্ত দত্ত (এলিয়াস জি.কে. দত্ত) ০৮ ডিসেম্বর ২০০৬ সাল থেকে মোবাইল ফোন ব্যবহার করে আসছেন। সময়ের সাথে সাথে তিনি বিভিন্ন কোম্পানির একাধিক মোবাইল হ্যান্ডসেট ব্যবহার করেছেন।

প্রযুক্তি সংরক্ষণ ও ব্যক্তিগত শখের অংশ হিসেবে, ব্যবহৃত কিছু পুরাতন মোবাইল ফোন তিনি সংগ্রহ ও সংরক্ষণ করে রেখেছেন, যা কেবলমাত্র আর্কাইভ, প্রদর্শন ও ঐতিহাসিক সংগ্রহের উদ্দেশ্যে রক্ষিত।

বর্তমান তারিখ অনুযায়ী তাঁর নিকট বিভিন্ন কোম্পানির মোট ২৩ (তেইশ)টি মোবাইল ফোন সংরক্ষিত রয়েছে। উক্ত সকল ডিভাইস পুরাতন, অকার্যকর এবং কোনো মোবাইল নেটওয়ার্ক বা পরিষেবার সাথে সংযুক্ত নয়। এগুলি সম্পূর্ণরূপে নিষ্ক্রিয় অবস্থায় শুধুমাত্র সংগ্রহ ও প্রদর্শনের উদ্দেশ্যে রাখা হয়েছে।

এতদ্বারা স্পষ্টভাবে জানানো যাচ্ছে যে, এই মোবাইল ফোনসমূহের সংরক্ষণ ও সংগ্রহ সম্পূর্ণ বৈধ এবং এর পেছনে কোনো প্রকার অপরাধমূলক, বেআইনি বা অসৎ উদ্দেশ্য নেই।
