আমি শ্রী গোপিকা কান্ত দত্ত, শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা। আজ ২৪শে মে, ২০২৬ইং, শ্রীপুর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের রেগার কাজে দুর্নীতি মামলায় মাননীয় ত্রিপুরা লোকায়ুক্তের সুপারিশগুলির বর্তমান স্থিতাবস্থা নিয়ে একটি সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন করি।
Tripura Lokayukta Act, 2008 এর অধীনে তদন্ত পরিচালনার পর মাননীয় লোকায়ুক্ত অসদাচরণ, প্রশাসনিক অনিয়ম এবং সরকারি পদমর্যাদার অপব্যবহারের প্রমাণ রেকর্ড করেন এবং সংশ্লিষ্টদের বিরুদ্ধে বিভাগীয় ও প্রযোজ্য আইনি ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণের সুপারিশ করেন।
আজকের সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে আমি তুলে ধরি:
• লোকায়ুক্তের সুপারিশ বাস্তবায়নের বর্তমান অবস্থা
• প্রশাসনিক বিলম্ব ও অসহযোগিতার বিষয়
• গ্রামীণ প্রশাসনে স্বচ্ছতা ও জবাবদিহিতার প্রয়োজনীয়তা

• গণতন্ত্র রক্ষায় সচেতন নাগরিক ও লোকায়ুক্তের গুরুত্ব
গ্রামের মানুষের অধিকার, উন্নয়ন ও কর্মসংস্থানের জন্য বরাদ্দ অর্থ কোনোভাবেই দুর্নীতি বা রাজনৈতিক রক্ষাকবচের শিকার হতে পারে না।
এই বিষয়টি জনস্বার্থ, সরকারি তহবিলের সুরক্ষা এবং প্রশাসনিক জবাবদিহিতার সঙ্গে জড়িত। আমি আশা করি সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষ দ্রুত, নিরপেক্ষ ও স্বচ্ছভাবে আইনানুগ ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করবে।

Press RELEASE: Regarding the Present Status Que of the Tripura Lokayukta’s recommendations in the Sripur Gram Panchayat Corruption Case!
I, Shri Gopika Kanta Dutta, am a permanent resident of Sripur Gram Panchayat. Today, on 24th May 2026, I addressed a press conference regarding the present status of the recommendations made by the Hon’ble Tripura Lokayukta in the corruption case related to MGNREGA works in Sripur Gram Panchayat.
After conducting an investigation under the Tripura Lokayukta Act, 2008, the Hon’ble Lokayukta recorded findings of misconduct, administrative irregularities, and abuse of official position, and recommended departmental as well as applicable legal action against the persons concerned.
During today’s press conference, I highlighted:
• The current status of implementation of the Lokayukta’s recommendations
• Issues relating to administrative delay and non-cooperation
• The necessity of transparency and accountability in rural administration
• The demand for strict action against corruption in public welfare schemes
like MGNREGA
• The importance of aware citizens and the Lokayukta institution in protecting
democracy
Funds allocated for the rights, development, and employment of village people must never become victims of corruption or political protection.
This matter is connected with public interest, protection of government funds, and administrative accountability. I hope that the concerned authorities will take prompt, impartial, and transparent legal action in accordance with law.
